NASA has a satellite scheduled to launch tomorrow,2/24/09, that will hopefully give them a better understanding of the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. The article states that about 200 years ago the carbon dioxide levels were about 280 parts per million. Today it is 387 parts per million. They expect it to rise over the coming decades.
Dr. Crisp is quoted as saying, "It's going to take us a while to get the measurements right."
